Reader Reviews
A quick and easy read for someone interested in the stock market and growing their funds. Great insight for taking and keeping control of your money without spending a fortune in time and education to learn how.

This book does exactly what it says: It makes stocks simple. For anyone who's daunted by the stock market and doesn't have the time or energy to delve into all its complexities, this book really breaks it all down. The conversational writing style and short, to the point chapters gave me some real insight into investing when I was all but clueless beforehand. Good idea. Good book.

See Stok Run is hundreds of textbooks and years of experience in a small book. A great read for anyone interested in not being taken advantage of in the world of stocks.
- E. Tusler
I have always shied away from the stock market. Years of curiosity have turned into years of not wanting to invest in anything I know nothing about. This book has given me the tools I needed to start learning about the market. It is a quick and fun read.
- H. Bakstad
Have to say, I'm pretty damned impressed: it's clear, concise, simply, and interestingly expresses views of the market I've had (but not executed on) for some time... specifically being okay with uncertainty and using systems that take uncertainty into account rather than trying to be predictive. Love some of the quotes and cartoons... as well as a few of your statements... nicely placed dry commentary without being detractive from what you're making fun of. Good stuff!

I don't have time to read all the financial news but I like to invest in stocks. This book helps me to make decisions in the stock market. It tells me there is a simple way to manage my stocks with a little bit of time. I would recommend it to my friends.

I like his approach to the stock market; uncomplicated, crystal clear logic. It is a simple, sort of Zen approach to trading. He helps you stop, examine your plan and how your emotions may influence your investments. I am more of a visual learner, so the simple graphics helped me a lot. I got the feeling he genuinely wants to help others better understand the market and be successful.

I'm a part time investor. I'm investing because I'm trying to build savings for when I retire. I've learned about the stock market by reading different kinds of investing books. Unfortunately none of the books that I read really helped me out and fit my investing style literally. (They were all about how to become a fortuneteller, a day trader or a professional style analyst). See Stok Run really taught me how to manage my portfolio effectively. It taught me how to minimize my risk and avoid investment mistakes. This book is really easy to understand. I can actually apply the rules from the book to my investing without spending lots of time reading financial statements. It is the book you should read if you are a lazy person same as me.

Gray, thanks so much for the discussion yesterday and the book. I
finished the book on my way home and really enjoyed it.
It is both dense with helpful information as well as fun to read.
Quite an accomplishment. I'm now determined to get back into trading
individual equities after having sat on the sidelines for quite a while!
